AVES OBSERWACJE is a portal for ornithological observations. It represents the ecological education project " Learning about Polish birds and the principles of biodiversity, respecting the Work of Creation " coordinated by the Laudato Si Ecological Foundation . This project was planned for 2018-2021. It is intended to stimulate the development of school youth aged 11-18 from both urban and rural areas, has 800 participants in contact with a group of 18 animators. The project is supra-regional and will cover 8 voivodeships.
The main task of the project is to familiarize participants with ornithology, develop skills in recognizing bird species and knowledge of their biology, and use this knowledge in field observations. Project participants conduct ornithological observations individually and in groups, at their place of residence or study. They record the effects of their work on the AVES OBSERWACJE portal, which brings together participants, monitors their activity, ensures communication, collects and processes data from observations, presents results in graphic, mathematical and tabular forms. The project "Learning about Polish birds and the principles of biodiversity, respecting the work of creation" is co-financed by the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management .
